Dining

Mayaguana's indigenous cuisine features a variety of dishes made from what islanders call "land crabs." They are served with grits, rice, or dumplings, in soup, and boiled. There is also conch salad made with boiled conch and mayonnaise, as opposed to the raw version found on most other islands. Quaint restaurants throughout the island offer these and other Bahamian dishes.
